Operational Guidelines

⚠️ ‌Critical Limitations‌:

  • Never exceed 260°C‌ during recovery (irreversible polymer degradation)
  • Avoid hydrocarbon solvents (toluene/xylene) – use IPA for cleaning only
  • Max substrate temp during install: ‌60°C

Installation Protocol‌:

  1. Substrate Prep‌: Grit-blast metal surfaces • Degrease with IPA
  2. Heating Equipment‌: Hot air gun (300–400°C nozzle temp) • Focused IR heater
  3. Shrink Process‌:
    • Axial shrinkage control: ‌≤8%
    • Heating direction: ‌Proximal-to-distal
    • Optimal rate: ‌4–6°C/sec
